Just look in the history if an audio channel is started for transmission
and one for reception. You can also look in the statusbar for A: 0/0
the first number is the upload speed, the second one the reception speed
for audio. If they remain to 0, you have a problem.

Xmms works fine doesn't mean that sound is correctly setup. GnomeMeeting
needs that your configuration is ok and is able to record and play at
the same time. XMMS doesn't play and record at the same time.

There is a long, very long answer in the FAQ about possible audio
problems in bad configurations and what to do to solve them. Please read
it and ask for help if it still doesn't work.

PPC can be the problem, as stated earlier today on this mailing list,
you need the latest OpenH323 libraries from openh323.org to make
GnomeMeeting work for sound on PPC.
