Just some additional informations:

Heise Zeitschriften Verlag GmbH & Co KG (Thats German for: Heise Publishing
...) is the publisher of two very famous german Computer magazines, iX, aimed
towards Computer Professionals, an c't, aimed towards experienced computer
users. Normally the articles in in these two magazines are well founded, but
as in every magazine, there are good articles, and there are articles which
aren't really good - and there are articles like the one Damien is referring
to.

This article is one of a handfull articles found in every issue which
introduce new programs, but this article did really disserve GnomeMeeting
IMHO. As it seems the writer is not really experienced with Linux, I looked
into some other articles by these author, these articles are of a better
quality, but the focal point of the author seems to be somewhere else, it is
clearly not Linux.

I will be writing a letter to the editor - in german - claryfying the
misconceptions of this article.

Don't be downhearted, the author was just wrong in this article, for me GM is
running perfectly for hours ...
