I agree but the problem doesn't depend anymore on me and that is the
best I can afford, unfortunately. Average users will blame GnomeMeeting
(and some of them already did) while the bugs are not depending mine.
The major problem is that only Suse is shipping with ALSA by default,
but they provide an outdated version of GnomeMeeting. Other
distributions provide GM, advertise GM, but do not provide ALSA as
standard, and so GM is unusable for a big fraction of the people (those
with old soundcards).
Kernel 2.6 will ship with ALSA as standard. I hope all distributions
will migrate by that time so that they can test ALSA.
