I've been having a terribly frustrating and weird problem today. When
I first installed my QuickCam Expres driver, I started GnomeMeeting as a
normal user, ran through the configuration wizard and all worked fine.
I did some work to put the modules in the right place and everything
broke. It appeared to be a permissions problem on the /dev/video
entries. Now I have a different problem.
I can run GnomeMeeting as root but as soon as I try to run it as a
normal user, I receive the following error:
PWLib Assertion fail: Operating System error, file osutil.cxx, line
468, Error=13
I see from some other e-mails that this may be a permissions issue.
What is going on and what have I done wrong? Thanks - John Sullivan
