Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Video loss when connecting via 2 Linksys routers

OK, I've investigated a bit.

Here is what I understand of the problem :
- at some point the local GnomeMeeting stops receiving video RTP data
for an unknown reason
- the behavior there is to stop the H.261 reception (no recovering is
implemented). Netmeeting probably tries to recover, that is why you stop
receiving.

Now you have to determine why it stops receiving video RTP data with the
message "Data read error (11): Resource temporarily unavailable".

That message is a standard error when reading from a socket.

To summarize, at some point, GnomeMeeting fails to read the data coming
on the socket because the "Resource is temporarily unavailable". In that
case, it doesn't try to recover, it simply stops the video reception
(while Netmeeting could simply wait for the resource to be available
again and try recovering).

For me, it has something to do with the Linksys router. What are you
using: native H.323 support in the router, or port forwarding and IP
translation?
