[GnomeMeeting-list] Echo

I had a conversation with my brother - me in Australia using GnomeMeeting 
0.98, him in the UK with NetMeeting 3.0.  We could hear eachother, but there 
was lots of echo.  Everything that was said came back repeatedly every couple 
of seconds.

Is there any way to fix this?
