[GnomeMeeting-list] Quickcam USB very weird problem

Hi,
I've got a problem with my Logitech Quickcam USB webcam. First, I tested it under Windows and it ran perfectly.

But, under linux, when I run Gnome Meeting 0.96, I've got this error message : "GnomeMeeting can't be used without audio devices. Please install a soundcard or a Quicknet card.". And with Gnome Meeting 0.98, "No usable audio devices detected. GnomeMeeting didn't find any usable sound devices. You need to install and setup a soundcard or a Quicknet card in order to be able to use GnomeMeeting. Please check your driver settings and permission".

When I run Vanity Webcam Utility (a new program under gnome to see what showing the webcam), I've got this on output : http://www.ifrance.com/r00t6/cam.png (please take a look, I can't describe this :p). Futhermore, and the speed of the picture are very slowly and sometimes, the program doesn't work very well (I must kill it).

So, my webcam don't work. I'm using qce-ga 0.40d driver. Kernel 2.4.21. Gentoo Linux 1.4. Few week ago, this webcam, under this own configuration, worked perfectly under GnomeMeeting...

On http://qce-ga.sf.net, requirements :
1/ Kernel > 2.2.18, Kernel 2.4.x, or Kernel 2.5.x with USB and V4L support
2/ Kernel Source for the same kernel installed under /usr/src/
3/ A working installation of gcc > 2.95

1/ I'm using kernel 2.4.21 and USB support is activated :
USB support  --->
<*> Support for USB
[ * ] Preliminary USB device filesystem
<*> EHCI HCD (USB 2.0) support (EXPERIMENTAL)
<*> UHCI (Intel PIIX4, VIA, ...) support
<*> OHCI (Compaq, iMacs, OPTi, SiS, ALi, ...) support

As V4L :
Multimedia devices  --->
<*> Video For Linux
[ * ]   V4L information in proc filesystem (NEW)

2/ It's OK

3/ It's OK

I put 'mod_quickcam' in my /etc/modules.autoload (gentoo) and at boot, there is no problem.
When I type lsmod, i've got this :

------------------------------------------
# lsmod

And :
------------------------------------------
# modprobe mod_quickcam

To finish, no error log messages in /var/log/messages. What's the matter ?

Ben,
and sorry for my poor english.
