[GnomeMeeting-list] Sound problems

Hi everyone,

after some hours of reading and trying I ask fo your help:

I can't get my sound running. My config:
gnomemeeting 0.96
linux-kernel 2.4.20
alsa 0.9.0rc6
quickcam 4000 (logitech) usb

sb live as dsp1 (unused)
intel8x0 as dsp0

I'm useing alsa's snd-usb-audio driver and it detects the webcam mic on 
/dev/sound/dsp2.

I tried to use the druid to setup /dev/sound/dsp2 as my recording source 
  , and /dev/sound/dsp as my playback device.
cat /dev/sound/dsp2 > /dev/sound/dsp works. (permissions are ok!)
audio test didn't work. (couldn't open ... for recording)
The german error message:
Das gewählte Audiogerät (/dev/sound/dsp2) konnte nicht für die Aufnahme 
geöffnet werden. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Audio-Einstellungen.

If I set /dev/sound/dsp2 manually it complains on incomming calls.

I think my hardware/driver setup is all right because I can use the mic, 
I shouldn't be a duplex issue either (I'm useing my soundcard for output).
Alsa tells me card2 is audio capture capable:
