Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Other video (firewire)

Hi,
 Yes, there is support for firewire video.

When you compile pwlib, make sure the environmental variable
TRY_1394DC is on.

Firewire support does work, and has been in the source for months.

Does GnomeMeeting support it?
I don't know.

IN ohphone, if you do::
ohphone -t -o log --videoreceive sdl --videolocal --videotest

quit from the test
less log, you will see the available video devices listed.

My system reports
  0:00.136 OhPhone main.cxx(2094) Available video input device: /dev/video0
  0:00.137 OhPhone main.cxx(2094) Available video input device: fake

with the flag TRY_1394DC on, /dev/video1394 will be listed also.
To use this in ohphone, add

--videodevice /dev/video1394 to the command line.
