Yes, there is support for firewire video.
When you compile pwlib, make sure the environmental variable
TRY_1394DC is on.
Firewire support does work, and has been in the source for months.
Does GnomeMeeting support it?
I don't know.
IN ohphone, if you do::
ohphone -t -o log --videoreceive sdl --videolocal --videotest
quit from the test
less log, you will see the available video devices listed.
My system reports
0:00.136 OhPhone main.cxx(2094) Available video input device: /dev/video0
0:00.137 OhPhone main.cxx(2094) Available video input device: fake
with the flag TRY_1394DC on, /dev/video1394 will be listed also.
To use this in ohphone, add
--videodevice /dev/video1394 to the command line.
