Thank you Damien. I bought the Labtec because it was the cheapest one 
supported under Linux. May be the drivers will be better in a few time. I 
succeded in installing my new USB webcam (difficult for an ex windows user!), 
so there is no reason that my webcam will be better under Linux in a few time 
!
