Probably not hard no... But I would have to introduce preferences and
gconf keys that I would remove later when doing the proper
implementation, so I don't plan to add a small hack before it is done
correctly. Perhaps Ill have time to do it before 0.98.1, but I don't
think so.
No, no, I was just sugesting it would be nice to be implemented, not to
do it in a
hurry and then have to redo it the right way !
A good work must never be rushed - it has to take the time it takes to
preserve
quality :-)

Hello,
I plan to add a new system for sound support, however I have to discuss
it with the GNOME guys, so I don't think it will be ready for 0.98.1,
but it will certainly be ready for 1.0.
I plan to make a new release in june, right before the holidays.

Hello Damien and all of you
I know this has been discussed before - I cheked
all the threads regarding the subject - I just would
like to know if the request for reimplementing the
incomimg call sound through system bell ( eventually
as an option ) would be considered for the 0.98.1 release.
Until a generic sound daemon that works independentlly of
the distro and or desktop environment is available, it would
be a very good idea ( and also for those who only use head-set
and don't have it on all the time ... ).
Thank you for a very good video/audio comunication software and
congratulations for having it accepted on Gnome
