[GnomeMeeting-list] error while opening video device /dev/video0, channel 0

Hi.

I recently installed gnomemeeting and the associated pwcx file for
a quickcam express.  It worked and functioned for a few days.  Then
the error 'error while opening video device /dev/video0, channel 0'
showed up.  I made sure the permissions were correct for /dev/video0,
and played around with adding it to the video group (and myself too).
I have reloaded the modules, according to the original installation
instructions (which worked!).  I have rebooted and read lots of
FAQs for gnomemeeting.  Is this a driver issue or perhaps an issue with
my OS (redhat 8.0)?
