This is probably getting off-topic, but isn't there the cvs repository? If 
Damien is nice enough to reveal the cvs tag nomenclature it should be easy 
enough to fetch ver 0.96.

Just in case it is hard to find the data with the website down:

$ cat gnomemeeting/CVS/Root
:pserver:anonymous anoncvs gnome org:/cvs/gnome
$ cat gnomemeeting/CVS/Repository
gnomemeeting
$ cat ~/.cvspass | grep gnome
/1 :pserver:anonymous anoncvs gnome org:2401/cvs/gnome A

the last means "no password" I believe.
