Then the problem is certainly with the MS-GSM codec, you have 2
solutions :
- ask to your Netmeeting friend to use OpenPhone for windows (which has
a better implementation of MS-GSM and also Speex I think)
- use G.711 instead of MS-GSM with your friend, in that case, lower your
video quality settings.

Yes, OpenPhone, Netmeeting and GnomeMeeting all use H.323, but
Netmeeting doesn't have a good implementation of GSM, and the other
codecs are patented and thus not usable by Free Software projects.
