I did indeed have "old" versions of openh323 and pwlib. Gnomemeeting
starts fine now. Thanks very much for your help!
However, not all troubles are over. I get a messagebox about the driver
not supporting the yuv420p format. I'm using a Philips webcam and xawtv
works fine. I've seen quite a bit of mail on yuv420p etc but nothing of
what I have tried so far works. I would really appreciate a hint about
what to try.
