You need it for building because of GNOME libs, but it is only used for

Hi,
I am basically a kde user and as such using arts (I know I don't have
too ;-). I don't want to use esound, as arts with alsa works fine for
me. But afaik gnomemeeting is dependant on esound? Or is it possible to
run gnomemeeting without esound?
you can run GnomeMeeting without esound, the only thing is that you
won't have the ringing sound on incoming call.
Hmm, do I have to do something with configure or is this a gentoo issue?
(ebuild is not the problem, I edited it) When configure can't find
esound, it aborts the compilation. What should I change?
