I have a camera just like yours. Mine is still not working, but I've made some
progress.
Look at this address, maybe it'll work better in your case:
http://alpha.dyndns.org/ov511/install.html

You'll need ov518_decomp module together with ov511.
This should work with xawtv as stated in their web page. The driver is
incomplete and not working with gnomemeeting, but letīs work together on this,
I 'll keep you posted as I  move on, please do the same.
