Recompile BOTH my kernels just so I can use the
*optional* pcwx module????? And what about the SMP
machine? Do you expect me to remove my second CPU too,
and recompile as UP?????? Get real.

I think that getting the pcwx to load is a lot harder
than setting a few module parameters. Let's see:
- downloading the right version of pcxw for your pcw
driver.
- recompiling your kernel (Ha ha! Don't RedHat use
module symbol versioning in their kernels? So what
should RedHat users do?)
- forcing it to load using "insmod --force", either in
the boot script or in /etc/modules.conf
But anyway, maybe the pwc module does initialise
itself sensibly by default for QuickCams? You have the
code... (I don't right now - I'm at work.)
