On Windows, by far the est clients are ones with hardware codecs built 
into the camera, such as Polycom's ViaVideo series.  These are not too 
expensive (less than an iPod!), and give great quality when used with 
standards-compliant H323 tools such as GM.

Netmeeting, on the other hand, is neither very standards-compliant nor 
very performant, and is basically best avoided.
