Hi Conrad, > By the way - what's the gconf altogether - someting > like the Registry? yep, it's the registry.. and manually deleting from xml files is somewhat between brave and stupid.. so you better don't do this unless you know EXACTELLY what you're doing. for your case, unless you have a very worthy addressbook, i'd suggest to run "gnomemeeting-config-tool --clean" as your user which you have the problems to run GM with and to purge and reinstall your packages.. (also running gnomemeeting-config-tool --clean-schemas *BEFORE* purging the packages may help) -- Best regards, Kilian
