From the usr/src/linux directory I followed the following steps:
1. make menuconfig (I did not found the Philips Webcam driver, but "Philips
camaras" was checked M under the USB section)
2. I copied the PWC drivers to /usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/
3. in the /usr/src/linux directory I have runned the following commands:
----make modules
----make modules_install
everyting as root
4. Reboot
Still no proper driver installed.
Questions:
a. Do I have to copy the new kernel to a specific place?
b. I am running SUSE 9.0, did I forgot something?
regards,
Jan
