Hi all,
I'm new to running GnomeMeeting. I have no problems with GM going from one
Linux box to another, or going from GM to Netmeeting on my LAN. My problem
is in trying to find people on the ils.seconix server.
When I first start GM, I get the message that I am successfully registered
on the ils server. When I go to the address book and clickfind, I get an
error telling me that people on the outside are unable to see me.
I went to the GM FAQs, under section 7.1.3, and setup my iptables like the
FAQ said. In addition, I used the gconf editor to verify the settings for
GM as listed under 7.1.2 of the FAQ.
Looking under the NAT settings in the H323 Settings tab of the user
preferences, I do have IP translation enabled. In addition, I turned off
the tunneling as well as the fast startup.
Here is a copy of my iptables -L listing:
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Any suggestions or ideas would be greattly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for any help.
