[GnomeMeeting-list] GM 1.2 with KDE 3.3.2 under Suse 9.1 sticks in startup

Hi,

I have the following Problem with GM1.2. If I start gnomemeeting under KDE I
just see the start-up window of GM. Nothing else happens. (Other applications
running at the same time are not effected). The same appears doesn't matter
if I have other video and sound enabled applications running or not.

I recently upgraded from KDE 3.3.1 to 3.3.2 with the unoffical rpm packages
provided from SuSe on their homepage. In addition I have Gnome 2.8 installed
with the packages provided by James Ogly (http://usr-local-bin.org/linux.php)
with Kernel-smp 2.6.5-7.111.5. The video driver is pwc 10.0.4.

Under KDE 3.3.1 with the abouve Kernel and driver GM was running (just had
sometimes GM crashing when trying to connect to the gatekeeper after changing
the gatekeeper setings in GM. But elsewise it worked pretty fine. I like the
program!)

I used for this upgrade kpackage and because of the problems with GM I
repeated the whole thing with Yast package by package. There where no brocken
dependencies.

Just in case I added after I recognized the problems with GM all development
packages for KDE but whitout any result.

When I start GM in a terminal I am getting the following messages.

>martinlohre homeserver:~> gnomemeeting -d 6

So far I have seen my orbit and orbit2 versions have not changed with the KDE
3.3.2 installations.

Do you have any hints where the problem might be? Anything might be helpfull.

Oh by the way, I am not a programmer, just a half way capable user. So there
is no chance for me to hack part of the code if this might be neccessary.

Please don't mention re-installing the system ;-)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards,

Martin
