[GnomeMeeting-list] GnomeMeeting doesn't see my video device

Hello,

when I plug my usb webcam into my pc I can see this in /var/log/messages:

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.380000] usb 3-3.4: new full
speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.430000] usb 3-3.4:
SN9C10[12] PC Camera Controller detected (vid/pid 0x0C45/0x6005)

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.441000] usb 3-3.4:

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.445000] usb 3-3.4:
Initialization succeeded
Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.447000] usb 3-3.4: V4L2
device registered as /dev/video0

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost kernel: [4299270.447000] usb 3-3.4: Optional
device control through 'sysfs' interface ready

Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost usb.agent[9626]: sn9c102: already loaded
Nov 4 14:23:56 localhost usb.agent[9626]: spca5xx: already loaded

So I think that my webcam is correctly recognized by Linux.
The permission of the video device are these:

root ubuntu:/home/andy80 # ls -al /dev/video*
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     11 2005-11-04 14:21 /dev/video -> /dev/video0
crwxrwxrwx 1 root video 81, 0 2005-11-04 14:23 /dev/video0

So, what's wrong with my settings?
This webcam work only with V4L2 and the support is installed since I
can see it in the combobox during gnomemeeting setup wizard.

I'm using Ubuntu 5.10 and GnomeMeeting 1.2.2

When wizard should detect the video device, I see that no video device
has been detected.

How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help!
