This also works with SIP. You need to do
sip:just-any-username 172 17 100 111
Just pick any username, or leave it empty
sip:@172.17.100.111
This works at least with ekiga.
If you just have
sip:172.17.100.111
then it does also work, but not for
sip:me.dyndns.com
because here ekiga thinks that me.dyndns.com is a username of the registered
account
