I'm using Ekiga 2.0.1 on Gentoo.  I have been unable to get Ekiga to
connect to any other clients.  I'm currently attempting to connect to
the sip:500 ekiga net echo back service.  The call ends with the rather
non-descriptive message "Abnormal call termination".  I've attached a
log of ekiga run with the -d 6 switch, although it doesn't look very
helpful.  I did a trace of the network traffic using Ethereal and found
that after initiating a call there are hundreds of STUN Binding
Request/Reply pairs (about 200 or so) and then the DNS query "SRV
_sip._udp.ekiga.net" is sent which returns "No such name".  At this
point there is no additional traffic and the "Abnormal call termination"
message is displayed in the status bar of Ekiga.  I have a registered
account on ekiga.net.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is occurring.  I would be very
grateful for any information on this matter.  On an unrelated note, I've
noticed that Ekiga often fails to hang up for a long period of time
(which I saw in the bug database that this was reported), but this also
occurs sometimes even when the call fails.    The first time it fails,
the fast sequence of tones is heard and then the connection button
becomes un-pressed (hang up correctly).  On the second or third failure,
the "Abnormal call termination" is still printed, but the error tones
are not heard and it just keeps ringing, until the program is
terminated.
