I think you said about header and footer (Sheet1, Page1) at GUADEC II,
but you need them? or not?

Good idea I had not thought to check the printer headers and
footers too.

Attention non latin-1 gnumeric users. I could use some test cases
to help decipher how XL stores some things. Their documentation
says one thing, an example from russian XL does another. Please
send me some test cases.

1) State what version of XL you are using
2) Set some text in cell A1 in your native encoding
3) Set the sheet name to something in your native encoding
4) Set the Print Headers and Footers to some text in your native
   encoding.  (File -> Page Setup -> Header/Footer)

In an ideal world you'd also include a screen shot of what I should
expect if I had the correct locale and fonts. Be sure to tell me
what version of office the file was generated with. Office2k saving
as XL95 != XL95.

Thanks
