Make the change if you'd like, but please add an entry in the
translation files for en_GB and en_CA.
Thanks, I'll do it. I'm wondering whether en_CA actually prefers
British spellings (and word usage)?

And en_AU
It will have the same spellings as en_GB
Okay. Up til now, gnumeric features en_GB only -- but I've no problem
to change it. At least on Linux it isn't needed to add en_CA and en_AU
to get the British spellings: a fallback chain is supported:
LANG=en_AU:en_GB:en_US
