confusion in Edit menu

[rpjday <rpjday mindspring com>]

  i know there's an explanation for this, but under the Edit menu,
there are two different sub-selections -- C(l)ear and De(l)ete Sheet --
that appear to use the keystroke "l".  what can this possibly mean?
