Batch conversion of Excel files

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a way to convert Excel files to XML on a headless box.  I
realize that Gnumeric probably isn't the way to do this, but how accessible
is this functionality in the shared libraries?  Of course, if there is
another solution for doing this, I'd be happy to hear of it.
