To compile it from the sources you need the developement-packages for some libs and packages, so you have to install gnome-libs-devel in addition to the normal gnome-libs. All the header-files and other things are in these devel-packages. Thomas Am Mit, 2001-10-03 um 12.23 schrieb Sylvain CHAMBON:
I hope you've seen my first message. I'm trying now to install gnumeric from its sources (because if installation from rpm package seems to be OK, it doesn't work at all !!!). When I do './configure' I have this message : /.../ checking whether stripping libraries is possible... yes checking dynamic linker characteristics... GNU/Linux ld.so checking for gnome-config... no checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install So, I install gnome-libs and ... the message it's the same !!! Someone could explain that to me ? Sylvain. _______________________________________________ gnumeric-list mailing list gnumeric-list gnome org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnumeric-list
