autofilter

hello all! i'm interested in contributing to autofilter support. i've 
checked out the source and i'm wondering how current the documentation is.

i notice that the TODO has autofilter as an "?" so i'm assuming no one else 
is working on it. i'm trying to find documentation on the design of 
gnumeric. is there a more recent and comprehensive document than 
"/doc/Design" which is from 1999? i'm especially interested in data 
structures for the cells, worksheets, rows, columns, etc. and the 
objects/modules/whatever that encapsulate them. also any sort of dependency 
graphs that show the modularity of the code at a higher level than just the 
source would be nice. in short, how do i become familiar with the code?
