Gnumeric Preferences?

Hello,

I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.  I have a
large spreadsheet that I use regularly with Gnumeric and I would like to
be able to open it automatically to the proper size.  So my questions
are:

1) Is it possible to make Gnumeric remember the size of a spreadsheet
that it has opened before?

2) Ordinarily, I would look for the answer to the first question in an
application's preferences file, but I can't find one in Gnumeric's
menus.  Does this exist?

3) How can I get Gnumeric to automatically open with a particular
spreadsheet?  Will this syntax work on the command line:
# gnumeric /home/User/Documents/docname.gnumeric
