One quick question: the text below is result of my own observations. Can
developers confirm that it is accurate?

It is important to understand that Print Setup dialog sets the options
for printing the current workbook.
FALSE. It contains options for printing the current sheet. (This is
really somewhat tricky, since in 1.0.x every sheet has its own setup but
the setup of the current sheet is used for any one print job even if
that print job prints several sheets. (I am thinking of changing this in
cvs head so that each sheet uses its own print setup since I believe
this to be more natural.)
Wow, this *is* tricky. I bet 99% of Gnumeric users didn't realize this.
I'll experiment to see how it works and then add this explanation to
the manual in stable (1_4) branch.
As for what is the best way to deal with it in the future - it seems
like a good question to ask usability people. As a user, I can say that
I'd *expect* that the print setup applies to the whole document unless
I ask it to be otherwise. Can we add another radiobutton "apply to the
whole workbook (default)/apply to current sheet only"? Or will it
confuse people even more? As I said, this is a good question to ask
usability experts.
I agree with Sasha. The users are going to expect the print settings to
apply to a workbook. But maybe this comes from XL compatibility?

Chema
