I have a stock RedHat 9 installation and am trying to compile gnumeric
1.2.2.
The configure command dies after saying:
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking for
libbonobo-2.0 >= 2.2.0
libbonoboui-2.0 >= 2.2.0
libgsf-gnome-1 >= 1.8.2
... Package libbonobo-2.0 was not found in the
pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libbonobo-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libbonobo-2.0' found
After some hunting around on the web, I found out about /usr/lib/pkgconfig
and /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig. These dirs contain some .pc files, but not
the ones gnumeric seems to be looking for.
Could someone point to a reference or something that explains how to
install and configure this pkg-config stuff?
Thanks!
