I have set up a template, so to speak, for several sheets in an identical style, including formatting, and special borders/backgrounds. What happens if you try to duplicate the sheet? You should be able to do this an unlimited number of times. Which version of gnumeric are you using? Would it be possible to obtain a copy of the file?
I can't find anything in the manual, either. Is this something improbable or impossible? I just want to avoid having to set up the individual widths and bordering for each row/column/cell, if possible. How can one "duplicate" a sheet's format?
This should work. If you right click on the sheet tab you can also duplicate the sheet. Hmm, I seem to recall faintly that we had a problem with the manage sheet dialog which could have had the result that you could only duplicate a sheet once each time the dialog was invoked. That has been fixed. So perhaps you just need to update to a newer version. We will be able to tell when you let us know your version. Andreas -- Prof. Dr. Andreas J.
