Hi,
If a document is opened, say docA and then saved with 'save as' to docB,
the current file name remains docA.
Which version of gnumeric are you using? The file name should change to
docB. (I tried it in the current development version and it works there
correctly.)
So if a document used as a template
is opened and saved with a new filename, to be safe you'd really have to
close the template file and open the newly created one.
Would it be difficult to allow subsequent file saves to use the new name
given in the save-as dialogue instead of the original file name?
That is intended to be the normal behaviour.
Andreas
