With an open source product the features that get implemented are very

The good news for you is that since the source is open, anyone can be a 
developer.  If a feature is important enough to you and your business 
you can always hire someone to implement that feature.

If it isn't that important then I'm afraid you have to take your chance 
that some other developer will fix it for you.
