Preview and printing problems

Using gnumeric 1.4.1, I can open my spreadsheets without problem. The
content is correct, but I cannot print my sheets. When doing a
preview, I only get the lines, shades and colors as well as the titles
and footnotes. The content of my cells is not displayed and not
printed (even to a file).

What is wrong with my installation? What should I check? Is it font problem?
