Maximum number of rows in 1.7?

Hi.
I was under the impression that 1.7 fixed the limitations with maximum
number of rows/columns.

It doesn't seem so - Do I need to change the same header files as
Gnumeric 1.6, or have the header files changed?

Just to specify - I need to open two files, one with 700 and something
rows, the other with 400,000 lines.
