changing cells in gnumeric solver

Dear all,

I am experimenting gnumeric's solver.
First of all, congratulations: this is a very useful tool!

My question is related to the changing cells.
It seems these cells should only be aranged in a matrix. It is not
possible to concatenate several matrices.

What is the rational behind this?
