mporting text data file into current sheet

Dear list,

I want to import data from a structured text file.

Data-<Import Data->Import text file

The aboveplaces the data in a newly created instance of gnumeric.
If I wanted to import my data into a new instance of gnumeric,
I would have opened one.

I want the data to be imported into the current worksheet
at the selected cell location.

Can this be done without all the extraneous cutting
and pasting?
