Gnumeric producing odd product

According to Gnumeric, 3*0.1 = 0.30000000000000004
It has the same trouble when multiplying 0.1 by 6,7,12,14,17, and 19. Or 0.3 by 3,6,9,12, or 18.
It thinks 0.3 * 9 is
2.6999999999999997
Please help.
