SpinButton not working as embedded widget

Hi all,

i'd like to embed a Gtk::SpinButton in a Goocanvas::Widget, but for some 
reason the arrow up/down buttons don't trigger a value
change. i can click inside the textarea and change the value manally, 
but the arrow buttons don't have any effect.

The adjustment i'm passing to the SpinButtons constructor seem to be 
recognized, as the values entered manually are kept in the
desired range.

Anyone an idea what could cause this ?
