determine selected rows in a clist

Hello,

I would like to get the information out of a clist, which rows are
selected by the user. Currently I implemented it over catching the
selection-signal and store the selected row-number in a global variable
- but I think that there should be a way, to get the current selection
over another method, right in the case I need the information, not over
a global variable...

I didn´t find a clist_get_selected_rows or something like that.
