make G_ENABLE_DEBUG the default for devel trees

hi all,

i'd like to suggest to change glib configure's current default for

  --enable-debug=[no/minimum/yes] turn on debugging [default=minimum]

from minimum to yes if GLIB_MINOR_VERSION is an odd one, i.e. for
development branches like 1.1.x and the upcoming 1.3.x.
anyone doing serious development with glib/gdk/gtk+ will want --enable-debug
to be set to yes anyways, and for the current BETA phase we're in, full
debugging facilities allow extended testing for existing applications,
most notably --enable-debug=yes enables the --gdk-debug and --gtk-debug
options.

anyone got strong objections against this?
