Widgets in CLists

The documentation leads me to believe that I could insert a widget as the
content of a CList cell.  Browsing the GTK source, though, seems to indicate
that it is unimplemented.

Am I missing something?  Are there plans to implement it?  If not, is there
a reason it shouldn't be implemented?  If I implemented it reasonably, would
my patch be accepted?
