GtkSpinButton oddity

If I do a gtk_spin_button_get_value_as_int(amount) after the keyboard
has been used to change the contents of a GtkSpinButton, I will get
the original value, not the current one. Bug/feature (Gtk+ 1.2.7)?
Incidentally, doing gtk_spin_button_update(amount) before getting the
value will make it work as (I) expected.
