compiling gtk on OSF1

Hi,
the current libgtk+ version,

GTK_MAJOR_VERSION=1
GTK_MINOR_VERSION=2
GTK_MICRO_VERSION=8
GTK_INTERFACE_AGE=3
GTK_BINARY_AGE=8

...crashes while compiling for OSF1.

here is my configure line:
