I think we've been burned too many times by giving dates. ;-)

Let's say, you can guess as well as us how long it takes to fix that
list of 15 bugs or so...

There are 207 total 2.0 bugs, including non-API bugs, at the moment.
(Query for 2.0.0 milestone.)
